THE EP
THE GOOD, THE BAD AND YOU
Buffalo Bill are a Canadian rock and roll band that have come with
an intent to shake things up.
Their debut EP, "The Good the Bad and You", is a brash and bold heavy blues rock punch. It does not take prisoners and does not leave any doubt in the listener’s mind.
This is a new era for Canadian heavy rock. This is Buffalo Bill’s era.
The band make an abrasive opening statement right from the opening chords of lead-off track, ‘Picking Up Pieces’. It is full power, it is in your face, and it is loud. This is what Buffalo Bill are all about. It is a statement of rock and roll and it comes across as such.
‘Whatcha Hiding’ comes next and picks up where the opener left off. It introduces a classic hard rock cowbell and continues with the swirling aggressiveness of the guitars and the driving bass. It proves to have a bit of a popular music sensibility with the catchiness of the chorus but, make no mistake, this is heavy rock and roll.
‘Swinging Death’ comes with even more adrenaline and energy and moves at a relentless pace. Its pace comes from the Ramones and its sensibility comes from Motorhead. It is furious.
'High N’ Dry’ concludes the set. This track is a fitting way to sign off for Buffalo Bill. The beginnings come in the form of a swirling and building solo guitar before Jorge Sousa’s vocals tear through in defiant fashion. The rhythm section then comes in with their Buffalo Bill signature; loud, bold, and heavy.

As a debut release, it does not get any more on the point and to the point than this.
